They are a BFA candidate at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (Boston, MA), and are a candidate for the 2026 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture award.

She is a BFA candidate at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (Boston, MA), and is a candidate for the 2026 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture award.

Sloane Stinson is currently a 2027 Sculpture and Animation BFA candidate at The Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) with a high school education in traditional fine arts at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. He’s had a hand in curating both the 2024 and 2025 MassArt All School Shows as well as being an active participant in the schools Iron Corp club. Beginning in the Fall 2026 term, he is the newly elected co-chief of the Iron Corps. Recently he has had his work featured in the 3D Fine Arts 3D Annual Exhibition, student organized Black Box galleries and the Beat Research Show at New Alliance Gallery. Deeply focused on the disruptions between mind, body and world, Sloane’s work uses a wide range of material to process and reflect experiences familiar especially to queer and neurodivergent communities.

Ari Bowman is a person making art. Growing up between eastern Pennsylvania, coastal Florida and a transgender summer camp in New Hampshire, they work to re- and de-construct the environments that raised them. They descend from a line of stubborn women who taught them everything they know. They are a 2027 BFA candidate in Sculpture and Illustration at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Owen Blake’s work aims to understand the capitalist system, why it is so alluring, and what can be done to dismantle it. His earlier works have focused on personal battles: addiction, loneliness, alienation, and isolation. He grew to realize the impact of overbearing government policies and intermingling with corporations on the common person, mirroring his personal struggles. He began creating works about environmental problems corporations have caused, how the working class is taken advantage of, and the deceptive and failing system of the trickle-down economy. Through my process, his work attaches to every link along the chain of corruption and greed, bringing light to the struggles and afflictions along it.

Flora Ackley is both the mad whirlwind of a Tasmanian devil and a beer-bellied bum jerking off onto a canvas. They’ve gotten possibly too comfortable on the bandsaw, and… they kind of have to pee right now. Both truths, just as naked as the fact that their art is made quickly, using materials as both necessity, to get the idea out into the world and deliberately, in order to convey that idea with purpose. Their practice indulges themes of limerence, having a uterus and tits, overconsumption, horses, sex, and the downfall of society due to ignorance while the threat of nuclear war hangs over our heads.

Daisy MacKay

Daisy MacKay is, first and foremost, a mad scientist. Trained as a jeweler, she is a metalsmithing pseudo-engineer consumed by insatiable curiosity. Daisy is an object maker who designs monstrously complex mechanisms, circuits, and processes. With the experience she’s earned through research and failure, Daisy’s driving purpose is to pass down and distill knowledge to those with the agency to seek it. In this, she declares an unruly practice of chaos through precision, strength, and labor. She builds objects that invite the presence of memory, the patience of rage, and the texture of well placed love in order to leave proof of life. She is a 2026 BFA recipient at MassArt (Boston, MA) in the Jewelry & Metalsmithing department, and a recipient of the Elaine Fontes Memorial Scholarship and the Paul Felopulos Artisan Award.
